We ventured to the Yarra Valley for a little weekend getaway, staying at Balgownie Estate Vineyard and Spa, one of the bigger resorts in the area (the only one we could find with an indoor pool, which is a must with our little water duck). We explored the area, visited the Healesville Sanctuary, went for a train ride on the old Yarra Valley Railway, found a wonderful chocolate shop which had superb ice cream, and visited a couple wineries to bring home some wonderful Yarra Valley Pinot!
