Merry Xmas - Winter wonderland

We have snow, lots of snow, and enjoyed a fabulous white christmas up on the hill with all the Akey's present. Mason (14 month old nephew) was entertaining; very excited and overwhelmed by all the gifts. Cooked a fabulous meal. I was in charge of the turkey...and the yams!

Special gift to note - Kevin's mom scrapbooked us a beautiful wedding album, complete with details from the engagement, right through the planning and up to the wedding day. Brought back a lot of beautiful memories. I cried, she cried, I think even Michelle cried watching us cry. Was very emotional - a very special gift. This was only her 2nd attempt at scrapbooking - first time she made a similar wedding album for Michelle after she got married in Vegas. The book is truly amazing, capturing all the special moments....and contains a dragon fly on each page!! Thank you ever so much.

More gifts to open at home - we did not drag down gifts from my family, so will have a few extras when we get home to open. Other gifts to note - Kevin bought me a beautiful pair of diamond and gold hoop earrings before we left for Denver, and my Mom and Dad bought us a rotisserie for our BBQ when they came to visit in the fall - haven't test drove it yet, but am looking forward to the day we do!
