Welcome to Kauai

We made it to Kauai - its beautiful here!! Got in about 7:30 pm, collected our luggage, and low and behold, in came our Aussie friends - perfect timing! Picked up the minivan (Kevin loves the minivan), and headed off to our resort. Unpacked, got settled in, had some wine and birthday cake (I had the resort pick up a cake for us - Happy Birthday Hal), had a dip in the pool, and headed off to bed.

Got up this morning to head out to stock up our fridge. Found a quaint little coffee shop/cafe for breakfast and then spent some time looking around a bit in a few shops. Pretty much spent the rest of the day touring around to Costco, Walmart and a grocery store to get supplies for the week (slow going with 6 people and a little girl) and headed back to the resort for a snack and a drink. There is a little girl who is anxious to get into the pool so I guess its off for a swim.
