Mexico Trip

We headed down to Puerto Vallarta for a week the end of February to meet up with Mom and Dad.  Flights were good.  Connor, as always, was a super traveller there and back.  Had a great week in the sun.  Weather was fabulous, hot and sunny every day, and Connor LOVED the pool.  He pretty much spent the entire day every day in the pool.  Such a water duck.  Played a bit on the beach and in the ocean, but he really loved the pool.  Enjoyed jumping off the edge, paddling around, and "hiding", where he'd stand in the water, and then flop down and dunk himself, coming up with a big smile on his face every time.  Connor met his first love, Jessica, the kids program coordinator at the resort.  She was spectacular with the kids staying at the resort, especially Connor.  He went and fed the turtles and the fish with her every morning, and constantly ran and gave her hugs every time he saw her walking around the grounds.  She was quite taken with him as well!!

We managed to get Jessica to babysit one night so Kevin and I went out for a nice dinner with Mom and Dad.  And one night grandma and grandpa babysat, so Kevin and I could do an evening excursion out on a boat to go watch a show.  Was called Rhythms of the Night, and was like Cirque de Soleil Mexican style.  Quite a spectacular show actually, and had a nice buffet dinner, and great entertainment from the crew on the boat, both there and back.  A lovely evening of entertainment!

The week came to an end too quickly, as we headed back to Victoria while Mom and Dad got to enjoy another week in Paradise!  Such a great trip though.  Connor still talks about wanting to go back to the "holiday house" with grandma and grandpa.
