Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour

ahhh, a little too much sun yesterday. I think I got a case of sun stroke. As the night progressed, my belly and arms turned redder and redder, and my head got hotter and hotter. Unfortunately, I did not stick around through all of dinner....an extravagent 7 course meal wasted on me. I hope the other's enjoyed their dinners though. We all signed on for the chef's 7 course tasting menu and wine pairings. The restaurant (The Aureole) had a 4-story wine tower with "wine angels", as they called them, repelling the tower to retrieve bottles of wine - quite the thing to see.

Feeling a little better the next day, thankfully, we were picked up at the hotel in a limo and taken out to the airport heli-field where the 4 of us (+ 2 others) took a tour out to the grand canyon. Tour included a fly-over of Hoover Dam and Lake Meade, and beautiful views of the canyon, with a landing in the canyon for a champagne picnic lunch. Was a great afternoon!

We are off to see the newest of the Cirque du Soleil shows tonight - LOVE, the Beatles Tribute.
