Packing Day!

My dear friend Dawn, whom I have know since grade 2, is handling our move overseas.  Her and her husband own a global shipping company in Vancouver, and will be packing and shipping all our belongings for us, to be put on a cargo ship for roughly 5-6 weeks until it reaches Australia.  Dawn came over yesterday with another guy from her company and packed and wrapped up a good portion of our house. Dinner, some wine and a great visit that evening was followed by our last night's sleep in our house.  Moving truck arrived in the morning and our entire house was packed up to be taken to Vancouver and put on a cargo ship.  Well actually, its being put in storage for the moment, as we still have no work visa in place, and cannot ship our belongings until we have a visa. Yikes, this is cutting it close. We fly out on Friday.  We might be going somewhere else on vacation for a few days/weeks until our work visa comes through.
