Ember, We Miss You :-(

Wondering about kitty and what we did with her?  We were lucky to find a wonderful temporary home for her until she is able to come and join us in Australia. Shipping a pet is a major pain, but we decided she is an important member of our family, and we do not want to be without her.  Our friend Brian's sister-in-law's sister (Donna) is acting as Ember's caretaker until she is able to make the flight to Australia.  The import rules are crazy.  She had to have a rabies shot a few months ago, and then one month later, she needed bloodwork done, and from that date, she has to remain in Canada for 6 months until she can be imported into Australia.  So she cannot join us until mid-November.  She stayed with Donna during our previous trip down here so we know she is in good hands and being well loved.  We miss her though and look forward to her joining us.  Hope she recovers well from the stress of being relocated.  Poor kitty :(
