Another day by the beach

We decided to have one more day of relaxation before touring around again with Made. Again, went for breaky at the TJ restaurant, and then sat around on the beach (well, I did - Kevin is a bit crispy from snorkeling so he sat on the couches in the shade), and by the pool. I dipped in the ocean for a bit, and then we talked to the staff at the hotel about moving back to the Garden room (neither one of us slept well in the beach room - bed was hard, and overall, just not as nice as the garden room). So packed up our bags again and moved back. Much happier in the garden room!!

Had some drinks by the pool, a light lunch snack, and went for a walk to check out the gardens at the Hyatt down the road. Tip #10 from our friends - check out the Hyatt and realize just how nice TJ is!! We agree! We do love it here.

The hotel sponsors a Balinese dance school, and every couple of weeks, puts on a show and dinner, which we attended tonight. The little girls dancing were unbelievable, as was the Indonesian buffet dinner! Black rice pudding (a dessert) is becoming a fave!!

The staff here is amazing. Thanks to our friends (Cam & Shari) that have been here 3 times now and were the ones that recommended coming (and mentioned we were coming to the owner Avi), we have gotten to know quite a few staff. They all greet us constantly as Mr Kevin and Mrs Akey, or "Mr Cameron's friends" (I think the whole staff knows our friend "Mr. Cameron" (he musta been a god around here because we sure are getting the special treatment as "Mr Cameron's friends"!!) Quite comical.

We are doing another tour with Made tomorrow, so we'll see what it will bring. I think we are going to see the monkeys!!!
