Last Day in Mexico - Happy Birthday Kevin!!
It was our last day in Mexico and Kevin's 40th birthday!! I booked Kevin a massage at the resort's spa in the morning after we went for buffet breakfast (getting tired of the breakfast buffet). Connor and I went in the pool a bit while Kevin was getting a massage and then Daddy joined us when he was done.
My mom's boss' wife from Christina Lake was down at her condo just a ways down the beach from our resort, so we got in touch with her and went over to their penthouse suite for the afternoon for a nice visit. Quite the place - beautiful views!!
We booked a babysitter for the evening so we could go for a nice birthday dinner off the resort without having to worry about keeping Connor happy. She was really nice, put Mommy's mind at ease about leaving him with a stranger at the hotel, but all worked out great. He apparently slept the entire time (better than us having to wake him and take him to dinner with us), and we had a wonderful dinner at Tequila's - a restaurant downtown recommended by a few different people. Each got a birthday shot of tequila - blah, Kevin enjoyed it but definitely not my thing.
Good first family vacation....looking forward to the next....
