Grandma and Grandpa's House

Connor and I did a quick little roadtrip to visit Grandma and Grandpa for a few days, while Kevin headed out of town for a work trip.  The drive there was pretty uneventful.  Connor did really well.  Only had to make a few quick pitstops to eat and stretch our legs a bit.  Had a lovely weekend visiting with Grandma and Grandpa, and went over to Uncle Bryan's house for a bit one day too to see the cousins.  Good thing Grandma and Grandpa's house had a fan and a bin (garbage can) for Connor to look at and play with - his two obsessions at the moment. He's quite proud to take stuff and throw it in the bin.  ("A BIN, A BIN!!).  Every morning coming down the stairs, he'd look up at the ceiling and say hi fan".  Too cute!!

Lots of fun sitting on Grandpa's knee eating all his food, making animal sounds with him, and building and destroying block towers with Grandma.  So funny, Grandma would build up a few blocks and he'd come racing over to knock them over.  As Grandma was building them up, she'd be saying "wait a minute" and then he started repeating it "waitaminute" while dancing around waiting to knock them down!  Precious times.

The drive home was a little crazier than going.  Hit a good mix of torrential rain, followed by fog and then snow.....not fun!  Connor slept through most of it.

Home again, back to work and daycare.  Daddy will be home tonight too.
