Bye Bye Bali

Our last 2 days in Bali were great. Our dinner out with the couple from Toronto was fabulous. Went to a little place called Warung Bambu Pemaron (found it on Trip Advisor).  We ordered the Indonesian special tasting menu which arrived at our table as a tower of 8 or 9 dishes to share, along with cones of white and yellow rice wrapped in banana leaves - very cool. Everything from fish satays to a chicken and coconut dish, corn fritters and tempe, which is fried bean curd - soooo good.  Also had a pork dish and another fish dish...and I can't even remember what else, but it was spectacular. A great authentic Indonesian meal for the end of our trip.
Spent yesterday and today just relaxing at the Damai. Had lots of pool time with Connor, some time relaxing in the Pagoda outside our room, and we each had a massage.  Oh my god they were good.  100 minutes of pure bliss. More excellent meals at the restaurant here mixed with a few thunder showers and an amazing light show in the sky and our adventure has almost come to an end.  One more good nights sleep and we are off to the airport tomorrow for our long trek home.
